Matthys Wine import
At the beginning of the year webdesign de cOhesie designed the new corporate identity for Matthys wine imports. We updated their 10 year old logo, redesigned their business card, gift voucher and last but certainly not least the most crucial element of Matthys wine import: the wine list!
Time to kick it up a notch and head for the huge task of redesigning the website! Not just any site but an e-commerce with full WCM. Frank Matthys likes to keep things under control. We designed a website that leaves him master of the situation without losing precious time. The site is very visual and illustrates the  diversity of the wine offer. Together with Frank and the cOhesie’s strong work ethic we present not without pride this beautiful website. Take the tour!

Visit the Anniek Van Tongel website osteopath

Anniek Van Tongel- Osteopathie avt-osteo.nl
Anniek Van Tongel, a certified osteopath, came knocking on our door with the simple request: she wanted a website that was easy to find, informative and would be an answer to her patients! The site should reflect her passion and be the reflection of her personal approach and passion. Distancing herself from the typical white medical sites. The energy generated by our collaboration lead to a pearl of a site. The homepage is automatically updated on a weekly bases.  Our deal is simple: osteopathy and Anniek Van Tongel are continuously evolving and growing and so will the website. de cOhesie also designed their new logo based on the same philosophy.

The 3-click rule for a functional website

Phishingmail
When we say 3-click rule we actually mean to have to click as little as possible in order to find the information you need. In the real world this means every click should count for something interesting and should occur naturally. Navigation should be intuitive. Or as Steve Krug´s puts it in his book "Don´t make me think". The second rule of usability goes:

"It doesn´t matter how many times I have to click, as long as each click is a mindless, unambiguous choice."

Phishingmail

Watch out for: Phishingmail

A phishing mail looks like a professional mail, with real logos of well known banks and companies. It is an attempt to gain personal information from you, such as a password or credit card details. The content of the email is pure fantasy!

What should you do with this e-mail? Don't react, and contact your IT responsible as soon as possible!

Cascading StyleSheet - CSS

A stylesheet alows you to separate document content from document presentation. This separation can improve content accessibility, provide more flexibility and control for the whole website. But more importantly it allows you to update and transform your whole website by simply changing the code on one single document.

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has therefor established standards. The cOhesie respects these standards.
